Acorn announces three appointments

Acorn Property Group has recruited an mechanical and electrical (M&E) design manager, a commercial director and a development coordinator.

Chris Trew has been appointed as M&E design manager and will work across all five regional offices – London, Cornwall, Bristol, Cardiff and Hampshire.

He has 18 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in M&E and renewables, working on projects at Canary Wharf, Derriford Research facility in Plymouth and RAF St Mawgan in Newquay.

Trew’s work at Acorn will involve reviewing and assessing all of the company’s proposed M&E layout and design, as well as ensuring best practice and, developing Acorn’s direct supply chain, product selection and standard specification. 

Martyn Harris has been appointed as commercial manager in the Cardiff office. He has 20 years of experience in the construction industry and he was previously commercial manager at Castleoak. 

Harris’ knowledge of the local construction sector will assist the company deliver their developments throughout south Wales and the Cotswolds, Acorn said.

Keryn Bromfield has been appointed development coordinator. 

She joins the team as a graduate, having studied BEng in Civil Engineering at Nottingham Trent University. 

Bromfield will assist the team in running projects through the planning and implementation stages as well as coordinating activities with the project design team and contractors. She will work in the Cardiff office.
