Martha Grekos [square]Hardwicke, the barristers set that specialises in construction, commercial and property law, has appointed Martha Grekos as a planning expert within its property team.

Grekos joins the set from law firm Howard Kennedy where she was head of planning.

An employed barrister for many years and a former tutor at Cambridge University,  she specialises in promoting redevelopment projects that are politically sensitive and involve large and complex environmental impact assessments, compulsory purchase orders, highway orders, planning agreements and appeal court proceedings including judicial review.

Fellow Hardwicke barrister John de Waal QC welcomed the new arrival, saying: “Martha is a significant addition to Hardwicke’s leading property team. We are already known for our excellence in commercial landlord and tenant, development, housing, leasehold, real property and trusts of land. Now we are able to offer clients first rate planning expertise.”
