Planning consultancy Indigo has appointed Chris Hayward as a non-executive director.
Over the last 30 years, Hayward has held a number of local government positions, including deputy leader of both Dorset and Hertfordshire County Councils and the leader of the opposition at Three Rivers District Council.
He is also the chairman of the planning and transportation committee at the Corporation of the City of London.
The role at Indigo will see Hayward take on an advisory role, using his experience in the London property market to provide impartial guidance and direction for the company on planning matters in London.
Hayward is a non-executive director at two commercial property investment companies.
