LUC expands and grows

Planning, landscape design and ecology consultancy LUC has promoted seven of its members of staff and made a number of new appointments.

Sarah Young has been promoted to director of planning in the Bristol office, while two team members have been promoted to associate: Emma Luke and Kate Nicholls. Kate Norris and Kieran Moroney have been promoted to senior planner.

In the London office, Jon Pearson has been promoted to associate and in Glasogw, Rosie MacLellan has been promoted to senior planner. 

Two new appointments have been in the London office: Hong Chen joins from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets as an associate and Chris Peachey joins from LDA Design as a senior planner.

LUC has recently opened offices in Manchester and Lancaster, where Jon Abbatt, who has been appointed director of strategic business development, will be based.

Philip Smith, planning director at LUC, said: “Our planning team goes from strength to strength, providing a wider range of planning services to a broader spectrum of clients. These appointments reflect this growth and diversification. Our new presence in the North West provides a platform for further growth.”
