Nexus Planning, a UK planning and regeneration consultancy, has announced the expansion of its Manchester team, with Richard Shepherd joining as a director.
Shepherd specialises in providing planning advice on retail and town centre development for both private and public sector clients. He joins Nexus Planning from WYG Planning, where he was also a director.

Peter Tooher, executive director and head of Nexus Planning’s Manchester office, said: “Richard's skills and experience will be of significant benefit to many of our existing clients and will enable us to develop our footprint in this important sector.”
On his appointment as a Nexus Planning, Shepherd said: “I look forward to working as part of such a knowledgeable team to deliver the full range of retail planning services to new and existing clients.”
