Our client requires a specialist Consultant with specific experience in master planning and major regeneration projects. The role will see you take responsibility for strategic policy, implementation and delivery and serving to ensure a coherent, consistent 'one council approach' to our client's regeneration and growth agenda. You will be required to plan, manage and control multiple project schedules and oversee the completion of deliverables to cost and timescale deadlines. It is essential that you are able to establish productive relationships with workstream leads, senior managers, Councillors, and community and business stakeholders to lead regeneration activity.

Specifically you will be working on a particular town centre within the Borough and you will be responsible for bringing high level influence to bear on the investment plans of partner organisations and private businesses to support the area's vision for investment and growth. You will lead the development of regeneration funding bids to ensure the council maximises all external funding opportunities.

To be successful in this demanding role you will need proven programme management abilities, together with an understanding of and experience in all aspects of regeneration. A solid understanding of public sector governance is essential and you must have the ability to manage relationships with Councillors, residents and other key stakeholders. The role requires excellent leadership skills with the ability to persuade and where necessary ensure compliance so diplomacy and negotiation skills are paramount.

The role is expected to last up to 6 months, is based in South West London and will pay in the region of £500-£600 per day (Ltd Co). The role is expected to be outside of IR35 scope. Further details available on request.
