We are recruiting for various opportunities which include part time and full time, permanent and fixed term contracts.

Greater Cambridge, which includes Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire District, is one of the fastest growing areas in the UK and an outstanding place to live, work and play. The historic city of Cambridge is home to a world renowned university and cutting edge science, research and business parks that extend into the beautiful villages of South Cambridgeshire. As the two Councils move towards a shared planning service there will be challenges and exciting opportunities to work on urban extensions, new settlements and complex mixed use inner city sites.

This is a place where we make things happen and we are proud of our achievements.

If you are an ambitious, experienced planner who is looking for full or part-time employment then we are keen to hear from you. We are offering several positions for the right candidates to work on varied and interesting caseloads in our New Communities team. As a member of our dynamic team of talented planners you will broaden your skills and experience by working on world class residential and commercial schemes.

We are committed to quality place-making in our existing and new communities and you will work with internal and external partners who share this aim.

We offer a friendly and flexible working environment with excellent training and development opportunities to accelerate your career. Want to know more about the range of jobs we are advertising? Then call Paul Mumford on 01954 713237 for an informal chat.

Please visit SCDC website for other urban design opportunities in planning.
