A Local Authority Berkshire is looking for a Planning Officer/Senior Planner to join the Council’s Development Management Team. You will be working on a mixed caseload of applications in a historic area of fantastic built heritage.

The Authority is looking for an experienced Planning Officer/ Senior Planner who can hit the ground running on a mix of minor to mid range applications.  These applications will typically be minor householder or commercial. Such as, small scale residential applications and commercial applications such as change of use and shop fronts. You will also be working on advertisement consent applications, lawful use certificates and condition discharge applications. It would be beneficial if you had two years experience in processing minor and householder applications.

The contract is for 3 months rolling and the Council can offer flexible working arrangements.
