Validations Officer - Opportunity to enter Town Planning
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to launch your Town Planning career to deliver effective and efficient planning validations services in the South West.
You will be working in the historic and charming area of Somerset for a Local Authority, with ample opportunities to explore and discover the local countryside.
About the Role
You will be required to assist in the validation of planning applications within the Development Control team for an initial 6 month period with the potential to go on for up to a year.
The pay for this role is negotiable and dependent upon your level experience and expertise.
An up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation is essential. It is preferable, but not essential that you hold a relevant degree qualification. In order to carry out site visits you should also hold a full driving license and have a car.
