This is a key managerial role in our client's organisation and will see you have leadership of their 5 property teams: Better Homes, Housing Maintenance, Facilities Management, Estates & Valuations, Capital Programme. It will be an all encompassing role with full budgetary responsibility.

On daily basis you will be carry out the management of operational projects and management of the Member/Councillor interface acting as key contact point for all related matters. Operational projects include: co-ordination of major disposals and acquisitions; overseeing the repairs and Maintenance contract and all associated procurement activity' overseeing the capital programme for schools and acting as Property Lead on AfC projects including a new children's home and a new respite facility in the area.

To be successful in this role you will need an excellent understanding of public sector governance. Strong commercial property and an asset management background is required and you will need to have excellent leadership skills with a wide range of knowledge that allows you to manage across the teams mentioned.

Formal qualifications are expected at this level and professional accreditation within a related profession is preferred.

The role will be offered on a 3-4 day per week basis and is expected to last 6-9 months. The role is inside IR35 and the day rate will be in the region of £500-£600. Our client is based in South West London.
