An East Anglia based Local Authority that I am working with has recently expressed a need for a Planning Officer to assist them with their current caseload.

You will join the Planning department assisting in their current caseload as well as taking on your own project work. You will be responsible for Negotiating and processing householder applications, extensions, changes of use, certificates of lawful development and also minor to midrange applications.

An up to date understanding of UK Planning Legislation is essential. Other things to be considered are that you would Preferably be MRTPI, have recent experience working in a Development Control role within Local Authority, and have access to a car as the role will see you undergoing site visits.

If you can see yourself working in this rewarding and challenging role then send me your CV, or to find out about other roles please contact me; Ben Young here at The Oyster Partnership on 020 77 66 9000 or email me on Ben.Young@oysterpartnership.com
