Town Planner - Manchester

£26,000 - £30,000

Our client, a well established consultancy based in Manchester are looking for an ambitious Town Planner to join their team and deliver a wide range of Planning services across the UK.

The successful Town Planner will provide a range of Planning services with both private and public sector clients in the Commercial, Housing, Rural, Education sectors. Specific duties and company services will include:

  • Preparation of Planning appraisals
  • Planning pre-application advice
  • Planning applications and appeals
  • Attending and contributing to client and project team meetings
  • Negotiations with Local Authority
  • Attending and presenting at Council Planning Committee meetings
  • Collaboration with Private and Public sector clients
  • Land Promotion or EIA's

In order to be considered, the successful town Planner must have:

  • A relevant RTPI accredited degree and/or Masters
  • At least 1 year post-graduate Planning experience
  • Experience in the Private Sector
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills
  • Full UK driving license
