A great opportunity has arisen for a Structural Design Engineer to join a respected and established independent engineering firm based in Cheshire. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on a variety of designs, ranging from residential, to retail and commercial buildings. You will be invited to join an experienced and hardworking team based in Cheshire. In order to be considered for this Structural Design Engineer role you will;

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Have at least 4 years' experience in structural design work
  • Be approaching chartership, if not chartered already
  • Have considerable experience with TEKLA, in addition to various other design software's
  • Have experience of working with 3D analysis
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have a valid UK drivers licence

In this Structural Design role you will;

  • Work independently and under minimal supervision
  • Work on designs across a range of fields for projects across the United Kingdom
  • Liaise with individuals within the company and externally
  • Visit site projects as and when required
  • Ensure the delivery of high quality designs
