An opportunity has arisen for an experienced TEKLA Draughtsman to join an independent engineering company based in Greater Manchester. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to join a progressive company and work on a wide range of projects across the United Kingdom including healthcare, education and retail development. You must have a background in steel, in addition to a strong background in TEKLA. Our client is offering a competitive salary for this position in addition to a fantastic opportunity for career progression.

In order to be considered for this TEKLA Draughtsman position you must;

  • Possess a degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A background in management is preferable
  • Have a strong background in steel structures
  • Have an extensive working knowledge of TEKLA
  • Have good knowledge of Eurocodes and British standards

In this TEKLA Draughtsman role you will;

  • Work on a variety design structures for projects all across the United Kingdom
  • Aid the development of more junior staff
  • Work with a very experienced team on a variety of steelwork projects
  • Liaise closely with members of the team, in addition to external clients
