We are looking for someone who is business-focused with the drive and determination for improving our services. This will include being the lead for the management and implementation of legal or other proceedings in the public interest, where breaches of planning occur.

You will ensure the delivery of a high quality enforcement service, prioritising service needs to inform improvements, and ensuring that appropriate action is taken to remedy any breach as soon as reasonably practicable.

Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in Town Planning or similar, you will have experience of working at a senior officer level, either in Planning, Regulatory or Enforcement areas, along with management experience. Excellent communication skills, together with the ability to develop positive relations with stakeholders and proactively deal with, and resolve, any issues at an early stage, is also essential.
