Our Bristol office is one of the largest planning consultants covering the south west region, with an enviable and extensive private sector client base across many sectors. We are a dynamic and creative team that works closely and tirelessly to deliver the quality of service and clarity of advice to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.
To be successful in the team, you should be commercially astute and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills, the ability to think creatively and to handle a diverse and demanding workload across a range of public and private sector projects. Our reputation for excellent client service and project delivery extends across all sectors including residential, business space, education, transport, retail and town centres.
We are looking to make several appointments at various levels to grow our talented team.
We have opportunities for senior planning professionals in Bristol at Director or Associate Director level to support our ongoing growth ambitions and to help to shape the future leadership of the team. You will be supported by a large and highly talented team, and will work closely with our complementary services (Design, Economics, Sustainability, Heritage and Engagement).
You will be experienced in leading the promotion of development and will have a track record in profile raising and work winning in the private sector. Enthusiasm, self-motivation and an appetite to develop others are pre-requisites.
You will have private sector experience in promoting development through the English planning system and in contributing to business development initiatives. You will be experienced in leading on a range of smaller projects and proactively supporting delivery on major projects. You will have a strong academic record and will hold a Master’s degree in Planning or a planning-related subject. As a successful Assistant Planner, you will need an enquiring mind, good interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
