Senior or Principal Town Planner (Bristol)
A fantastic role has arisen with one of Bristol’s leading firm’s at Senior/Principal Planner level. This firm have an excellent reputation and are based right in the city centre. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team within an independent run structure meaning a non-corporate, family feel environment but with the benefit of great projects, client relationships and good progression.
We are looking for a Senior or Principal Planner to join the firm due to expansion and increased workload. The type of projects are really varied but include a lot of mixed-use, urban regeneration and city centre schemes as well as large/complex sites, residential and commercial schemes. Candidates will have experience of a similar project variety and also experience within a consultancy (preferred) or local authority based ideally in Bristol or another busy city. Knowledge of the South West is essential so for relocators to be considered, commitment to the move needs to be demonstrated. MRTPI is essential and candidates need to be confident in client facing situations and in project managing schemes (which are often complex in nature).
This firm are very encouraging of progression and have a very low staff turnover. Planning is the core of the firm and the team are a decent size which means that although you’re working for an independent you still benefit from a busy office, a nice social atmosphere and be part of some really impressive projects.
