Working for our client in central London you will join a busy planning department and carry out this specialist role within their conservation team. Your work will focus on processing Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Area Notifications. On a daily basis you will be involved with investigating unauthorised works to trees and providing formal advice on planning applications. You can expect to spend a certain amount of time out on site.

To apply you will need to have worked within a similar local authority team and have a good knowledge of UK planning legislation. Specifically you will need to have a knowledge of conservation work and planning matters in relation to heritage areas. Ideally you will have a good understanding of the M3 planning system.

Our client's office is based right in the heart of London and is very easy to access. The contract is likely to roll on for some time and, depending on experience, will pay around £25-£32/hr
