Enforcement Officer – Hertfordshire

A Hertfordshire-based local authority are looking to take on a contract Enforcement Officer to help deal with incoming cases during a busy period and take the strain off permanent members of staff. This position is a 3 month contract that is likely to roll on, and the client is happy to look at a part time or flexible working arrangement.

Urban Designer – Oxfordshire

A local authority in Oxfordshire are in need of an Urban Designer to provide professional advice to their Planning team. This is a part-time position on a 3-6 month rolling contract.

Enforcement Officer – London

We are working with a London Borough, who are keen to recruit a Planner to work in the Enforcement Team. Ideally you will have completed a Planning qualification and have working Planning Enforcement experience. This position is a 3 month rolling contract.

Planning Officer – Hertfordshire

Another Hertfordshire-based LPA are hoping to bring a contract development management officer into their team to assist following the departure of a current contractor. This role will involve working on a range of minor and householder applications, advertisement consent, change of use etc. Flexible working arrangements are available and this contract will last for at least 3 months, but is likely to roll on way beyond this.

Policy Consultant – East Sussex

A 3-6 month contract for a Planning Policy consultant. The consultant appointed will play a key role in progressing Part 2 of its Local Plan, covering site allocations and topic policies, as well as supporting preparation of a number of neighbourhood plans. Other work areas may include developing proposals for major growth in the bigger towns, working closely with a neighbouring borough on economic regeneration schemes, planning for the sustainable growth of villages and infrastructure projects.

Principal Planner – Surrey

This Surrey-based local authority are hoping to take on an experienced Planning Consultant who is capable of working on large-scale applications, both of a residential and commercial nature. Ideally you will have worked on major applications in a local authority previously. This is a 6 month rolling contract, and home working can be discussed.

DM Team Leader – Berkshire

A local authority in Berkshire are looking to bring on a contract DM Team Leader to manage one of the DM teams for a period of 3-6 months. There is the possibility of working from home; this is a great opportunity for a Principal to get back to Team Leader level, or for a current Team Leader looking for a rate increase and increased flexibility.

Planning Officer – Oxford x2

We are working with two Oxfordshire based LPAs who are looking to bring on Planning Consultants to work on minor and householder applications. These contracts are 3-6 months rolling and there is the possibility of home working and a part-time arrangement.

Planning Officer – Cambridgeshire

An opportunity to progress your career in a beautifully based Cambridgeshire-based local authority, working at Planning Officer level on minor and householder applications. A 3 month rolling contract.

Planning Officer – Hampshire

A very similar contract to the aforementioned- a 3-6 month rolling contract with a Hampshire-based LPA, working on a range of Planning Officer level applications.

Senior Enforcement Officer – Oxfordshire

An opportunity to cover a Senior enforcement post while permanent recruitment is being undertaken. You will be responsible for managing your own cases of a more complex nature, undertaking site visits and issuing of enforcement notices. We foresee the position lasting for at least 6 months at this authority.

Planning Officer – Midlands

A county council are looking to take on a Planner with experience at County Council level in monitoring and completing applications regarding minerals and waste sites.
