Planning Officer - Oxfordshire

A local authority based in Oxfordshire easily accessible by road and with onsite parking are currently looking to recruit a Development Management Planner to assist with a mixed case load of applications. 

Successful candidates will ideally have acquired practical experience as a Planner in Development Management, and have a proven track record processing applications, as well as a degree related to Town & Country Planning and excellent written and communication skills.

You will be dealing with applications such as householder extensions, changes of use, listed building consents, prior approvals and Certificates of Lawfulness, with the opportunity to deal with some more complex applications.

Rates for the position is £30 per hour. 

This would be an great opportunity for a Planner at an early start in their career to gain invaluable experience at a busy local authority with the change to step up and deal with larger applications if you wish. The council are able to offer flexible working with 1-2 days from home.
