You will be working in a successful and growing team within the Planning and Development sector of the company, providing ongoing guidance for junior members of staff and to manage multi-disciplinary teams and projects from the outset. The team specialise in high-value, mixed-used and commercial projects, predominantly in Central London.
Our client is looking for an Associate who is capable of project managing a variety of schemes and coordinating all aspects of planning applications; so, look forward to having autonomy for your own schemes and the opportunity to win your own business.
If you are self-motivated, resilient and commercially astute then you have the right attitude for this role. You will ideally have a strong planning background in Central London projects and good contacts within the London Local Authorities. It would be preferential if you have experience in commercial and mixed use projects, although all sectors will be considered.
It is essential that you have experience of developing new business from previous roles, plus an understanding of invoices and fees. Being able to demonstrate times where you have had to problem solve, make hard decisions and manage client expectations would be beneficial to your application. This is a challenging but very rewarding role and the team is highly valued within the company and across all disciplines.
In addition to a Planning-related degree (or equivalent), and having worked at least 5 years post-qualification in a planning role, you will ideally be MRTPI (or equivalent).
