If you are a highly motivated individual with experience in strategic planning and development and are looking for a new challenge, Kent County Council (KCC) has an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for someone to join our Strategic Planning and Infrastructure Team and help shape growth across Kent.

Working within the Environment, Planning and Enforcement division, the successful candidate will take an active role in promoting KCC’s position on infrastructure and strategic planning matters relevant to achieving sustainable growth across Kent.

The role will provide the opportunity to coordinate and prepare a range of representations to Local Plans, Nationally Strategic Infrastructure Projects (NSIP) and strategic planning applications. You will be able to demonstrate strong collaborative skills that will underpin positive working relationships with a wide range of public and private sector partners engaged in matters related to planning, development and infrastructure.

Taking an innovative and flexible approach to your work will enable you to shape the role and contribute to successfully meeting outcomes that will make a real difference to the delivery of sustainable growth in Kent.
