A local authority a train ride away from London are currently looking to recruit Development Management Planner to assist with a mixed case load of applications. This post will initially run for 6 months, with a view to move on to an ongoing contract.
Successful candidates will ideally have acquired practical experience as a Planner in Development Management, and have a proven track record processing applications, as well as a degree related to Town & Country Planning and excellent written and communication skills.
The workload is varied and would range from, but is not limited to; small, household applications, through to more complex applications. We welcome applications from Planners with UK and non UK planning backgrounds.
Rates for the position range from £23-£30 per hour depending on experience, though if you would like to discuss the possibility of a high rate please get in touch and we will advise. The roles is based in Bedfordshire.
This would be an amazing opportunity for a Planner at an early start in their career to gain invaluable experience, or for a Planner with international experience to familiarise themselves with the UK system.
