Planning Officer

We are currently recruiting for a number of local authorities in Hertfordshire, into various positions, all seeking experienced Planning Consultants to assist them with a spike in workload within the development management team. Hertfordshire and the surrounding area are not only earmarked for substantial development over the coming years, but are a lovely place to spend the summer months.

One such LPA is looking for a Planning Officer to join their DM team, and assist with a caseload of planning applications, mostly consisting of householder and minors, up to 10 dwellings. This position could offer flexible and home working for the right person, and will be for an initial term of three months, with a view to extend way beyond this.

Another local authority in the area are looking for a more Senior Planning Consultant to work an an exciting range of major developments and schemes coming to the area. If you are a seasoned Officer looking to cut your teeth by working on more exciting developments, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Due to the scale and term of these projects, ideally you will be able to work with this council for a minimum of 3-6 months.

I appreciate that this is a very vague summary, and I would be more than happy to provide more details on the positions, and the rates you can expect for your experience within this.

If you would like advice on contracting within East Anglia and the South East, please do give me (Ella) a call. I have been recruiting specifically for this area for a number of years, and am also working on a number of positions in Essex, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
