Local Land Charges Officer
As a Local Land Charges Officer you will prepare and process Local Land Search Certificates and accompanying forms. You will be required to check and collate information held in other computerised databases. On a daily basis you will be working with a large volume of data, carrying our searches and responding to requests for information. A key function of your role will be maintaining the Commons Register and ensuring accuracy of information. You can expect to be dealing with a wide range of other departments within the council including Planning, Building Control and Environmental Health and you will play a key role in rectifying errors and omissions in information held by the Council and used by other services.
The ideal candidate for this role will already have an understanding of Local Land Charges and if not the client would be happy to consider those with excellent admin and IT skills who can also show strong customer service skills. Good IT skills are required and knowledge of GIS systems would be a distinct advantage. You will need the ability to analyse and interpret data and present key facts to both internal and external groups in a clear and concise format.
It would be an ideal role for a Graduate looking to begin a career in town planning.
The role is based in South West London and will pay around £16-£17/hr (umbrella).
