Enforcement and Appeals Support Officer required to join our client in West London. They are one of the most densely populated Boroughs in London and as such face some the City's most challenging planning conditions. It is therefore an excellent location to work and to gain experience and this role within their enforcement team is an excellent opportunity for a recent planning Grad to get high level London experience.

You will be required to provide technical and administrative support to the Development Planning team working under supervision to contribute to delivery of the council's objectives and priorities. Specifically you will have involvement with appeals cases which required efficient and accurate processing and a key function of your role will be registering and validating appeals and reports of unauthorised development. You will act to ensure that ensure that the service dates and compliance periods of all enforcement notices and planning contravention notices are accurately recorded on the relevant database.

Other aspects to the role will include ensuring that all planning contravention notices are served via recorded delivery, preparing background information relating to properties and sites and preparing electronic enforcement case files prior to investigation by professional officers. You will also respond to customer enquiries regarding planning appeals and general enforcement enquiries.

The role will be offered until at least the end of January 2018 and will pay around £15/hr. Contact us for full details including a detailed job description.
