There is an opportunity for an Associate Town Planner to join them in their fast-paced Lancashire office. You will be a member of a hardworking and enthusiastic team who consistently deliver work of exceptional calibre. This is a sociable office with a positive and supportive environment, with a good team spirit. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the day to day management of the team as well as liaising and managing external consultants, so previous experience in staff management are desirable.
As well as a brilliant group of colleagues, you also get the chance to engage with exciting projects. Your portfolio will include a broad range of clients and schemes of varying complexity. You will be taking a lead on planning applications, appeals and site promotions and ensuring they are delivered within agreed deadlines.
You will be in direct contact with your clients, so it’s important you are confident maintaining and building positive working relationships. In order to be successful in this role, you must be a clear and confident communicator with a people orientated approach.
To be successful in this role you will have had a minimum of five years post chartership experience, ideally gained within the private sector. Ideally you will have gained experience in the local area and have a strong network of contacts.
