We are looking for an Area Planning and Enforcement Officer, based in our Melton / Woodbridge offices. You will have your own caseload, present cases to Committee and carry out planning and / or enforcement visits, site surveys and inspections which will primarily focus upon parts of the Suffolk Coastal District and may on occasion involve the Waveney District.
You will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and written communication skills and show a particular flair for negotiation and influencing. You will also be experienced in handling planning applications and appeals. The role fits within an area team and will benefit from continued support for your professional development.
