As part of the vision we have undertaken a major restructure of the Planning and Regeneration Services and are currently recruiting to a number of new and exciting posts. The reorganisation of the service area enables the potential for career development and progression as we grow our team.

About the Role

This role is key the delivery of the Council’s strategic corporate priorities. Working for us you will have the opportunity to make a real difference for our residents, securing ‘Growth’ with new homes and regenerating the town centres, reducing inequality and offering value for money.

The role includes leading a professional and proactive Development Management team to deliver a quality service in accordance with planning legislation and Council priorities, ensuring that developments in the Borough enhance the built form and amenity of residents and businesses.
