Our client is a Local Authority in West London and they require a Planning Policy Officer to join their Development Plans Team to assist in the preparation and implementation of the Local Plan and managing the collection, allocation and monitoring of section 106 developer contributions. You will be responsible for leading on particular policy areas and carrying out research to support the monitoring and review of their development plan.

To be able to fulfil the requirements of this role you will need a relevant town planning degree level qualification and a good understanding of the S106 / Community Infrastructure Levy process. You will need to be confident dealing with external contacts, in particular representatives from developers working in the Borough. You will need good financial management skills and the ability to organise and manage complex data.

The role is based in West London and will initially be offered as a 4 month position but it could be extended past this. We'd expect a rate of £25-£28/hr. A full JD is available, contact us for more info.
