Planning Officer - Berkshire
A Berkshire Local Authority is seeking Planning Officer to work on a caseload of householder and minor applications.
You will be joining a friendly team, where some training and support will be given. You will be responsible for processing householder or small commercial applications. You will also be working on advertisement consent applications, certificates or lawfulness, change of use applications and condition discharge applications. You will be independently conducting site visits and liaising with members of the public.
It would be beneficial if you had around 2 years of Local Authority Development Management experience, but candidates with private sector experience would also be considered.
The role is Inside IR35 and the rate is negotiable dependent on experience. The contract would be on a 3 month rolling basis with the likelihood to extend to 6-9 months.
