An expanding boutique planning consultancy who operate nationwide are looking for an MRTPI Planner (either recently chartered or with up to 8 years post qualification experience) to play a critical part in their South East team. Working closely with Directors and Associates, you will help guide clients in the affordable housing and care sectors through the planning process. Your clients will offer a variety of business, varying in size, region and scope. It is an ideal role for a planning professional with good experience who is looking for more responsibility and genuine chance for future career progression.
Role & Responsibilities:
Critical role delivering for clients
- On joining this town planning organisation, you will be responsible for playing a key part in supporting the successful delivery of clients' planning schemes. In this development control focused consultancy position, you'll present sound strategic advice, conducting site appraisals across the region, advising on policy and working on planning appeals.
Join a growing company
- Although a small organisation they work with major clients nationwide, usually in the affordable housing and care sectors. Their success over the last decade has put them in a position to expand their South East office consistently over the next few years.
- Working directly with Associates and Directors, you will have the chance to work closely with major clients nationwide. As part of your remit, you will get to travel across your region to meet them face to face as while conducting site appraisals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MRTPI qualification
- Car owner
- A good amount of experience in guiding clients through the planning process from the private sector. Chartered planners, seniors or associates will be considered.
