Team Leader - Development Management
As Team Leader for our client's North Area Development Management team you will manage aspects of the team's performance so that targets for validation, provision of pre-application advice, application processing, appeals and any other service duty are met or exceeded. A key aspect of your role will be acting as lead to oversee specialist projects undertaken by other members of the team. You will also serve to ensure that statutory requirements are met and that accelerated and sustained improvements in performance and service delivery against Government and local targets are achieved and maintained.
As Team Leader you will oversee all development management related matters including handling and overseeing of householder and other specified minor and small major pre-application advice and planning applications; appeals relating to applications of this nature including presenting cases at any appropriate Committee/Council meeting; and giving evidence as required at any legal proceedings.
To undertake this role previous experience will need to have included prioritising and allocating work to team members according to their separate, specialist skills and roles; setting targets and monitoring the work of those individuals to agreed performance standards.
This role is with a client in East London and will last for at least 4 months. They are looking to pay a minimum of £35/hr and the working week is 36 hours
