Principal Planner (Planning Policy)

The successful postholder will take a leading role in the production of Oxford City Council’s planning policy documents, in particular the Local Plan 2036. You will get involved in a range of tasks including researching evidence; drafting policy documents; carrying out and analysing the results of public consultation; and sustainability appraisal work. In addition there will be opportunities to take an active role in responding to plans and proposals brought forward by other local planning authorities or other bodies and this may involve appearing at Examinations.
