Enforcement Officer- Outside IR35
I am currently working with a Local Planning Authority in Dorset who are looking for an experienced candidate to join their Enforcement Team.
About the Role
You will provide consistent decision making on a wide range of planning enforcement matters/certificate of lawfulness applications, and recommendations for allocated applications and play an active role in ensuring departmental performance targets are met and development accords with policy and is of a high quality. You will be carrying out site visits, surveying site developments and recording any breaches of planning control. You will be required to interview members of the public, owners and occupiers of land, whilst applying your own investigative skills. The Authority are looking for you to successfully prepare evidence for written representation appeals, informal hearings, public inquiries and court proceedings.
The contract will be for a period of 3 months, with potential to extend. The council can offer some flexibility but as much office presence as possible would be ideal. This role is Outside IR35.
Ideally, you will have experience working in a Local Authority in the Enforcement team and be competent at handling complex enforcement cases.
