We seek an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our small, friendly and professional built heritage team.
East Riding of Yorkshire is one of the country’s largest unitary authorities with a wealth of varied and interesting heritage assets, ranging from stately homes, parks and gardens, farmhouses, cottages to industrial buildings and maritime architecture. You will be part of the council’s specialist Building Conservation team and provide advice to planning officers, developers, land owners, Members and the general public.
This is a challenging, technical but very rewarding role within the team and you will hold or be working towards an appropriate qualification and have experience in dealing with Listed Buildings and development in Conservation Areas.
We can offer a discounted leisure centre membership, a staff discount scheme, and potential for flexible working arrangements in a beautiful part of the country, working for a council which is nationally recognised as one of the best in the country.
