Osborne Richardson have an excellent opportunity for a Planning Officer to join the Major Applications Team of a busy local authority in South East London. Initially your role will focus on dealing with the discharge of conditions/S106 clauses within one of our clients large scale development sites. However if the candidate has the right experience and shows willing there is the opportunity to become the case officer for small scale major applications too.

For this role you must have at least one to two years of work experience within a Development Management team as a Planning Officer (ideally you will have gained experience within a local authority in London) and your knowledge of current planning legislation and guidelines will need to be fully up to date. You will need to have good communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis to convey complex, detailed information in a clear, concise format.

The role will be offered for an initial 3 month period but this will be a rolling contract and is likely to run for up to a year. The rate offered will be between £22.00 - £25.00 per hour depending on your experience. Please get in touch for more details.
