The Isle of Man has a unique and very special environment.  It is the only country-wide Biosphere Reserve, has the world’s longest running continuous parliament and is home to the famous TT Road Races. 

We are looking for two enthusiastic individuals to join our team:

  • Senior Planner (£35,537 - £41,507 job reference 7074) - a Planning Officer (£29,213 - £34,186) may be considered for this role should a Senior Planning Officer not be appointed.
  • Planning Enforcement Officer (£29,213 - £34,186 job reference 7075)  

A pay award for both posts is due April 2018.

You will contribute to our ambitious Programme for Government, to ensure Planning helps to drive sustainable economic growth, respond to changing population pressures, and keep the Island a special place to live and work.

It is envisaged that interviews will take place in Douglas.  Expenses would be available for candidates travelling from the UK or the Republic of Ireland.  Interviews by Skype would be considered for candidates in other areas.
