Planning Development Executive
The Planning Development Executive will join a small Development Management team that sits within the wider LLDC Planning Policy and Decisions Team. This role provides professional planning advice on development projects that contribute towards the regeneration of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and its surrounding area.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual who is educated to degree level with an appropriate town planning qualification and/or has equivalent experience of working in development management.
You will understand statutory planning processes and will be able to critically evaluate most types of planning applications, provide reasoned advice and make clear recommendations.
The role will require you to liaise and negotiate effectively with planning applicants, the host Boroughs, statutory and non-statutory consultees and the local community. You will be able to communicate effectively, have the ability to quickly establish relationships and be able to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
