Advise the Deputy Mayor and the LEAP on London’s Workspace agenda

The Mayor is inviting applications from leading individuals from London’s Workspace sector to join the London Workspace Advisory Group.  We are now seeking to appoint up to four Members to work alongside the existing Members of the group.

The Group will advise the Deputy Mayor for Business and the London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP) on issues related to availability, affordability, growth, development and long-term sustainability of London’s workspaces. Members will play an integral part in making sure the capital’s workspace sector can flourish and support London’s micro businesses and SME community.

In order to complement the existing membership of the Group, we are looking to recruit individuals that can represent:

  • Users of workspace;
  • Workspace providers, including:
  • representation from outer London social enterprises;
  • providers with at least more than 10 spaces across London; and
  • providers of wet lab facilities;
  • Developers that include workspaces among their portfolios.

We are keen to ensure that members are as diverse as London’s communities, bringing excellent knowledge of the opportunities and challenges facing the sector and ability to raise its profile. Members will have a genuine passion for the sector and will be able to provide expert advice which will deliver real improvements.

The Group will consist of 15 members who between them will cover a range of expertise and provide thought leadership on the key issues across the broad agenda of workspace in London. Members will reflect different sectors of the workspace community, including outer London borough workspaces, large providers, users of workspaces, developers and Wet Labs.
