Planning Consultant

Chippenham -Wiltshire

Full or Part Time (Pro-rata)

Salary £25K - £45K negotiable based on experience and qualifications plus benefits 

LP Planning are expanding, and we are looking for highly motivated, hardworking, dedicated Chartered Town Planners. They must have at least 3 years experience in the public or private sector, have their own car and have a full driving licence. We seek someone who wants to be part of the growth of our successful planning practice.

The successful candidate will work with a range of clients who are primarily based in Wiltshire and the South West. Our projects include small scale residential, commercial, agricultural, community and equestrian projects. This rewarding and challenging post will offer the right candidate diversity, flexibility along with opportunities to create new business leads.

There will also be scope to input into the direction of the business and to influence its future growth.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate excellence in the following:

  • Technical knowledge and expertise
  • Understanding of current planning law and practice
  • Commercial acumen
  • Planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Project management skills
  • Negotiation skills and a good communicator
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Work on own initiative as well as being a key team player

  • Chartered RTPI Member
