Senior Planner

Temporary - Full Time (37 hours)

Contract Length: 1 Year - (Maternity Cover)

Job Details

We are looking for someone to cover maternity leave in our Senior Planners team.  You will already be a Senior Planner or an experienced planner who is ready to take the next step up.  The team deal with the majority of major applications submitted in the District.

We are delivering large numbers of houses and we are looking for someone who can add value to a layout, find good design solutions and improve the built environment of Stratford on Avon District.  

You will be committed to good customer care and to working as part of a high achieving team.  We have had 2 applications go over time this year; we are looking for someone who can help us to return our performance to 100%.

Previous appeal and Committee experience is expected as is a suitable planning qualification and membership of the RTPI; a qualification or experience in an associated subject (Landscape, Urban Design, Conservation etc) would be an advantage.
