Stride Treglown are offering a career position Planning lead for the Southern Region.

As a past National Town Planning Consultancy of the Year, we are a specialist service working within one of the country’s leading architectural practices.  We enjoy working across a wide range of major projects in all key development sectors. In recent years we have developed successful frameworks with Universities and Contractor/Developers in the Central and Southern region. In addition to private sector projects, we work with Local Authorities and have recently secured significant planning permissions and a 40ha Local Development Order shortlisted for a National Placemaking Award in 2019.

The role is a great opportunity to be the local regional lead for Town Planning, devising and executing planning application strategies and technical support to architectural colleagues. You will be a vital part of the wider national Planning team, based in Bristol and spread across the UK.

Based in our Solent (Winchester area) Studio, you will work alongside a growing team of architects and design professionals, including project managers in an environment which provides opportunity to shape your career and the successful places we seek to create.   You will have an opportunity to manage your own client relationships and contribute towards the direction of the team and the delivery of an ever increasing portfolio of planning commissions.

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) with proven track record in leading successful major planning application strategies, ideally within a consultancy background. This senior role is designed for an individual with a passion for shaping future places through a proactive, can-do, attitude and an interest in collaborative working opportunities.
