The Opportunity

Peter Brett Associates, now part of Stantec, provides a broad range of range of planning advice to our public and private sector clients to support their development and strategy ambitions. 

Our clients include: Developers, housebuilders, local authorities, UK and Scottish Government agencies, private and public interests in the residential, energy, retail, commercial, industrial and distribution sectors; Universities, Colleges and others.

Following recruitment over the last 18 months, PBA’s involvement in regeneration and development projects continues to grow, and we’re now looking to further expand our team in our Glasgow office.

You will be involved in the team's ongoing development, becoming part of our leadership team to build our relationships with clients, ensuring we continue to provide them with market leading advice and services.  You will have project development and management responsibility and will work with other members of the team to develop their skills.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a truly multi-disciplinary business to develop new business relationships and deliver excellence for our clients in the public and private sectors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Project support through management, analysis and delivery; and delegation of appropriate tasks to junior staff
  • Mentoring junior staff and colleague
  • Maintaining and building positive client relationships to support the capture of new opportunities

About You

Degree-qualified and a member of the RTPI (or equivalent), you'll hold significant post-graduate experience in a planning and development environment, with strong understanding and experience of development and the planning system in Scotland in both the public and private sectors.

You'll be highly conversant in development management, strategic planning and other aspects of planning including public and stakeholder consultation and will use your strong networking skills to support the winning of new opportunities for the business.
