Tower Hamlets Council appoints permanent corporate director  

Tower Hamlets Council has appointed David Joyce as its new permanent corporate director for housing and regeneration. He will take up his new role on 1 October 2024.

Joyce has been corporate director of placemaking and housing at Haringey Council for the past four years. 

He held director-level roles in regeneration and planning at Camden Council, served as director of planning, transport and development at Lambeth Council from 2013 to 2016, and has extensive experience in planning across various London boroughs, including Barking and Dagenham, and Redbridge.
