Arcadis appoints associate technical director in Birmingham

Global design and consultancy firm Arcadis has appointed Ellen O’Grady associate technical director in its Birmingham office.

O’Grady joins from Amec Foster Wheeler / Wood PLC where she was associate director. In her role she will support strategic growth opportunities around the UK, with a particular focus on developing and strengthening Arcadis’ offer to central government departments engaging in site rationalisation and disposal programmes.  

O’Grady said: “From the ongoing devolution agenda, to changes in planning regulations, affordable housing requirements and space standards, our industry is facing a plethora of challenges.

“That makes it an exciting time to be taking a leading role in guiding our public sector and developer clients through this changing landscape. I’m really looking forward to working with the team to help bring forward and deliver projects right around the UK.”
