Associate planner appointed at planning consultancy

Nexus Planning has appointed Katya Samokhvalova as associate planner in its London office.

Samokhvalova, a chartered town planner with the RTPI, previously worked for DLP Planning and Carter Jonas.

She will help to manage the firm's residential and retail client portfolio across the private and public sectors.

Samokhvalova has more than 10 years of experience in urban planning, including residential, mixed-use and retail projects. She has been involved in undertaking commercially focused planning appraisals, helping clients shape local plans, preparing and submitting successful planning applications and appeals.
