Barton Willmore appoints sustainability associate

Planning and design consultancy Barton Willmore has appointed Rhiannon Smith as associate in its sustainability team.

Smith was previously a lead consultant at Energist UK. She has many years of experience advising on the delivery of commercially viable low and zero carbon strategies from board level and detailed design for planning applications.

Lucy Wood, partner at Barton Willmore, said: “Rhiannon’s carbon and energy strategy expertise will slot in perfectly to the team’s current skill set, helping to provide an additional dimension to our design advice as well as formulating net zero energy strategies for all scales of development from sustainable new communities to full planning applications.
