Katy McPhie (left) has joined Leeds-based Blacks Solicitors' planning team, taking the headcount to three.
She joins as a senior associate and brings with her "significant" planning, highways and administrative legal experience in both the public and private sectors.
Last year, James Cook (middle) joined the firm as a partner to establish the planning team.
McPhie commented: "There’s no doubt that the planning system faces a variety of challenges at the moment. There are certainly going to be some interesting times ahead and the opportunity to work with James to enhance the services offered by Blacks during this time is an exciting prospect”.
The planning team sits within the commercial property team at Blacks Solicitors.
