UK and Ireland law firm Browne Jacobson has appointed Andy Cox as its first non-executive director (NED) of its energy and infrastructure sector group.
Cox was formerly senior partner at KPMG where he spent 17 years and was also head of the firm’s UK transaction services.
Since departing KPMG, Cox has focused on the energy transition and undertaken several advisory roles, including senior advisor to the executive team at Storegga (carbon capture and hydrogen developer).
In his new role he will help support the firm and its lawyers in driving forward the energy and infrastructure sector strategy, which is part of the wider corporate sector strategy.
